Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 8, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how QuickBook App collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users connect their QuickBooks Online company and use the application.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as name, email address, login credentials, session data, connected QuickBooks realm ID, OAuth tokens, and accounting data returned by QuickBooks APIs.

3. QuickBooks Data

Depending on your connection and permissions, QuickBook App may access company information, customers, invoices, accounts, items, products, services, balances, and related metadata from QuickBooks Online.

4. How Information Is Used

Information is used to authenticate users, connect to QuickBooks Online, refresh access tokens, sync records, display saved accounting data, troubleshoot errors, and maintain application security.

5. Token Storage

Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored server-side and are hidden from frontend views. The application is designed to use encrypted casts for stored QuickBooks OAuth tokens.

6. Sharing

QuickBook App does not sell user data. Data may be shared only with service providers required to operate the application, when requested by the user, or when required by law.

7. Retention

Connected company records may be retained while the account or QuickBooks connection remains active. Disconnecting QuickBooks removes the stored connection credentials from the application.

8. Security

The application uses authentication, server-side token handling, access controls, and Laravel security features to help protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

9. User Choices

Users may update their account information, disconnect QuickBooks from the dashboard, or request help from the application administrator for data access or deletion requests.

10. Contact

For privacy questions, contact the application owner or administrator responsible for your QuickBook App deployment.
